To improve their market position, the law consultants decided to collect information about potential customers from their partners via web site and distribute dynamically generated documents in portable document format (PDF). Thus, they needed the document workflow solution based on widely accepted and open document formats, such as portable document format (PDF). The information was to be submitted via PDA and smartphone devices popular with small and middle global corporations.

Document workflow application was built upon a widely accepted and approved technology (Java servlets, JSP and XML) which enabled its crossplatformity. Heavy use of open source libraries and application server considerably reduced costs of this application, improved its reliability and extensibility. Distribution of documents over Internet in PDF format allows customers (whether they are at home or in the office) to view, print, mail, edit or save the documents easily.

This crossplatform application now allows the lawyers to process their documentation which is critical in their business whenever and wherever they are located. This contributes to their activity going globalized and the knowledge base getting enhanced but saving them time and brining in individual and modern style.
