Since February 12 to 15, 2007 the mobile world will experience the most significant event in the industry, the largest international 3GSM Congress in Barcelona, devoted to the last achievements in mobile technology. Every year the 3GSM events attract thousands of the most progressive companies from around the world and 3GSM 2007 won't be an exception: the organizers expect more than 60 000 visitors. However, February 12 will also be a special day for the international Mobile Monday community which will have its Mobile Monday Global Peer Awards 2007 designed to represent the most innovative projects in telecommunications, selected by Mobile Monday Organizers on each of 36 territories.

Among plenty of innovative solutions presented at Mobile Monday Global Awards 2006 that was the project Opera 8 Mobile Browser for BREW from Opera Software which won the award. This year the best innovation will be selected by the expert jury consisting of the representatives of such companies as Vodafone Group, Mobhappy, Gotomedia, Telefonica as well as Financial Times journalist.
After the thorough selection only one finalist from each Mobile Monday local chapter will have an opportunity to demonstrate their innovations in front of 1500 mobile professionals. The 3 best nominees will be named winners as well as recognized by experts, given broad press coverage and attention of a great number of potential partners, customers and investors.
Mobile Monday Global Awards in Barcelona is your chance to present your mobile innovation to a wide audience and speak in front of hundreds of the leading mobile players on the very first day of 3GSM. Any company which has a unique mobile solution and a well-prepared presentation is welcome to participate in the selection of finalists from Ukraine. Ukrainian Mobile Monday Chapter has already started the selection tour! The company-finalist which will be honored to represent Ukraine at the contest will be announced on January 22, 2007 at Mobile Monday conference in Kiev.
